Powerlevel:38,000 Anti Sense. Wc:301 Question? Why did men take trains to go to places. Because they were places where planes would be caught in grueling winds and cars would not mange. The Polar Express job was to travel across this land and it was one of the few ways. One of the safe ways. Sesame stalked the halls of the train a cloak pulled over his body so those on the train would not who he was. He was here to kill another target. This target was in the more refined part of the train, some sort of businessman. He was here to see something but he was only going to see what the afterlife looked like. At least if Sesame got to him anyway.
He had been doing these jobs but a lot of them had gotten stopped by someone who wanted to play hero. Most of the time it didn't exactly go his way. But that was fine, many of the times it still did. He was still the strongest assaisan... that anyone could hire. If he couldn't kill them, then they were just not going to be killed. That was the closed case on the manner. That was at least how he saw the matter. He kept walking to the door that would lead to the higher class part of the train but a man was waiting at the door. "Sir you need to sit down. Are you looking for the bathroom?" Sesame sighed. This was going to be how they did things. Sesame hand grabbed the man by the throat and threw him the side of the train towards certain death if no one went to save him. And with that his leg flew up to break the door apart and step inside. He was not going to waste his time.

To most, Earth's north was a cold, cruel, and unforgiving wasteland. But to Fend, the arctic wilderness was one of the most fun places on the entire planet. She'd spent the entire day up here just enjoying herself, building small structures and shoddy sculptures out of the show, riding down the snowy slopes, or seeing how many snowflakes she could catch on her tongue. Fend needed a break, a moment of peace to enjoy herself after the... eventful week she'd had.
Dressed in a snug red jacket, Fend breathed in a contented sigh from where she laid atop the train's roof. She hoped they didn't mind her hitching a ride. The wind felt nice in her hair, and the steady clanking of the train's wheels against the tracks was oddly relaxing. Fend nestled her hands beneath her head, closing her eyes. This was a good day...
At least, it was, until a scream snapped Fend upright. Snapping into action, Fend quickly followed the source to see some poor sap falling right off the train. "Excuse me wHA--" Fend jolted upright, quickly whipping out a string of energy to catch the Earthling before he was ground into dust. She managed to reel the shaken man back aboard, breathing a deep sigh of relief. "Hhhhholy shit." She tried to speak to the human, crouching down to the trembling earthling's level. "The hell happened down there?"
"T-t-there was s-some big... p-pink monster." The terrified human stammered. "I-- I don't know why he... Oh gods, I could have died." Fend felt a pang of empathy course through her heart. "A-ah, i-it'll be alright! You're in one piece. I'll, uh... handle him. I'm a bit of a vigilante myself. If you're staff here, can you try and notify whoever's driving this thing that shit's going down?" She glanced through the carts. The distant sound of a door being smashed did little to sate her worries. "Y-yes, m-m'am. T-thank you."
"...If something goes bad again back here, just yell and I'll be back to help." With that, Fend took flight, darting forwards to the damaged cart that this supposed monster had began to plow through. It wasn't hard to find, with the panicked screams of the humans inside leading Fend to them like a moth to a flame.
Inside was a... large, quiet, pink demon person. He seemed... oddly familiar? Fend couldn't put a finger on why just yet, though. Who he was wasn't important, if he was here to hurt someone than he'd have to get through Fend.
Fend flung a small blast of ki, aiming to bonk Sesame in the back of the head to lure his attention back to her. "Hey, asshole!" She growled, standing between him and the terrified humans in the train cart, who had gathered in back behind her. "I don't know who the hell you think you are, trashing this place and endangering lives, but 'yer gonna have to kick my ass before you hurt anyone else." She growled, unsheathing Palibur. Though the blade was still drained from her encounter with Kowlin, surely itd be able to handle a miscreant like this.
"...Oh, also, have we met before? You seem a lil' familiar." Fend knew she knew this person somehow, and not in a good way... But why? Surely she'd remember someone with an appearance as unique as this demon's...
Fend's Utility Technique, Ki Masquerade, hides her Ki from feeling like a Shinjin's! WORD COUNT: 561
Sesame slowly stalked the hall looking for his target. But as he moved forward something slammed into his head. It was not that strong but it was far stronger then a human should be able to create. Sesame slowly turned his head looking towards where the blast came from. Seems someone was getting in the way of his job agian. Sesame could sense they were strong but that was it. Sesame was not someone that would need to learn to sense ki but letting one strength dicate if you were fight or not. If you defeated yourself just by sensing one's strength then you had no right to be a fighter. Still he at least had an idea that whoever was trying to stop him was not someone he could just ignore.
Sesame eyed up he rest of her gear, she had a sword of some type. A Rapier. That meant a fast blade, it was nice for this confined space they were in. He didn't have much room to go move towards to avoid the blade dicing him. Sesame took in a deep breath to resolve his focus. As for Fend question about if they meet before, "No. TV Prehaps." With those words some people became to quickly check the interent. And many right away began to quickly try to run off when reading that he was indeed the same demon that tried to kill Derry, the presidential Candiate in a fearsome battle. "Its him! He is that crazy demon Assiasan Sesame!" Sesame glanced slightly annoyed as if considering to just blast everyone but just as quickly without looking his right arm fired jetted forward his legs kicked off the ground. A distraction for the Shinjin to deal with. His right arm sailed forward to try to slam into her face.

Fend and Sesame stared each other down for a few moments. While the Shinjin kept her blade pointed at the assassin, she began to gather wisps of ki in her free hand, wrapping the energy around her forearm as it took the form of strange strings of raw energy. She had to be careful fighting in an enclosed space like this with so many people around. The sooner she could relocate Sesame to somewhere where he couldn't hurt anyone but her, the better.
Sesame didn't seem to recognize Fend, but someone in the back sure seemed to recognize him. 'Sesame, huh...?' That name didn't ring any bells. A big, silent, scary and pink demon... She knew that she knew who he was, but how?
Eh, she could solve that mystery later. First things first, making sure nobody died.
As Sesame rushed Fend, the masked Shinjin swung her free arm forwards, The strings around her arms unraveled, quickly forming into a spidery web that Sesame would likely find himself screeching to a halt and getting stuck in the strings in if he couldn't stop in time. "Y'know, it's quite nice outside. You should go enjoy the weather." If she managed to catch him, Fend would pull on the strings and sidestep, aiming to aim and use the threads to slingshot Sesame right through a nearby window. Regardless of if he'd been launched or managed to circumvent Fend's trickery, she'd rush after him and try to deliver a swift kick right to his gut.

Sesame could see the ki that Fend was forming, but he didn't care. It was not going to stop him from moving forward. He kicked forward ready to hit Fend with a powerful attack to start the battle off. However, as she came flying in she seemed to fire a web of strings to stop him. That seemed to wrap around his arm as he moved forward stopping his movement. He could break free but not quickly enough to stop Fend's incoming attack which was throwing him across the train towards a window to blast him through. A grin formed on the assiasan face. She wanted to move the battle away from people on the train. It would not be that easy. Sesame smashed through the window but as he did his earlobs wrapped around the frame of the window his feet slamming agiasnt the side of the train to hold on. Considering the strength it rocked the cabin slightly throwing people into an even greater panic.
Sesame would then flip through the broken window landing on some glass but crushing it under his feet. He did have a few small cuts from slamming through the window. Being slammed at the force Fend could produce would make the glass he slammed into more then able to at least slightly cut him. But they were no deep enough to bleed, just enough to be seen. Now what was he going to do about her fighting style. Strings for mid range, rapier for close range. Sesame would kick the side of one of the seat sets on the train. The folks who had been there had already left so he didn't need to worry hurting anyone. He would lift it the chairs and chuck them towards Fend to smash into her. Then using them as cover he dash in to get close agian to land a blow to her gut then an uppercut to her jaw.
Last Edit: Sept 29, 2021 21:13:24 GMT -5 by Sesame
Just as Fend was about to hop out and pursue Sesame away from the train, the demon plowed right back in through the window. "Ack--!" Her footing fumbled as the train cart rocked to and fro with the force of Sesame's landing. Whatever few civillains were left in the cart quickly fled after that stunt, though, causing Fend to breathe a sigh of relief. She couldn't get too comfortable yet, though, not when Sesame was ready to tear her apart.
Sending him through the glass window had cut him up a bit, but it very obviously was far from enough. He rushed her again, this time hurling two chairs to use as cover and to plow a path through what remained of her threadwork. Fend tried to hop back in time to dodge, but hissed in pain when she felt her foe's fist slam right into her gut.
Before the sound demon's other punch could strike her chin, though, Fend gathered ki in her hand, conjuring it into a dagger of energy. She'd quickly try to slam the sharp blade right into Sesame's wrist before he could strike her chin. Regardless of if he'd managed to redirect his punch or plowed his arm right into the spike of light, Fend would crouch down and move to counterattack.
With her foe now in close range, Fend took the opportunity to try and swing Palibur at his cut chest, hoping to start opening up the little cuts he'd gotten from being thrown through the glass...

Sesame was able to move forward and used his speed to get in range of the kai. His punch to the gut landed hard as well opening her up for his uppercut to sail into the air to try to land straight on her jaw. However as he moved forward she threw out some sort of knife. At such close range the knife flew through his wrist and out of the other end. A foutain of blood escaped the new wound. He would plant his feet quickly ripping the knife out. However, this forced him on the deffensive as she attacked with her pain sword. He was able to move back the blade grazing his chest drawing more blood but not anything that worried him. This knife really messed up his wrist though. He was going to have to be more careful of that. And he also have to pay her back. Sadly for her, while his right wrist was a mess, his left wrist was still just fine. He flicked his palm upward showing off the holes in the palms. He would grin at her sound energy flying from the palm. He aimed to slam a powerful sound wave into her frame and knock her down. Some payback for messing up his wrist, he really needed that. How unthoughtful of her.
Fend held her ground even as Palibur's swipe just barely missed Sesame's chest. She could see blood leaking from the assassin's wrist- it looked like she'd managed to take his hand out of commission already. Though it was hidden by her mask, a confident smirk spread across Fend's face. She had this in the bag already. Surely a few well-timed strikes from Palibur could end this scuffle quickly.
Sesame raised his hand, and Fend quickly began channeling ki into Palibur's blade in retaliation, expecting a blast of ki to come flying her way. She funneled her own magic into the sword, causing its blade to begin to glow.
She swung the blade, releasing an arcing crescent of ki en route to scorch Sesame. However, the demon's attack wasn't a blast of energy like she'd been anticipating, but a wave of sound and wind. "Shit--!" Fend cursed, her hands instinctively pressing against the sides of her hood to cover her poor ears. Her earlier blast of ki was slowed by the sound wave, but managed to cut through the blast and continue towards the demon.
Not that Fend could hear it, though, her ears were still ringing. The sensitive ears of a Shinjin weren't doing her any favors against any sort of supersonic attack. Though it hadn't hit her, the attack had left Fend dazed...

Sesame saw his sound energy was having an effect on her. Guess she had very sensitive ears. Considering how strong she seemed to be that was off. "Konatsian?" Sesame said out aloud in wonder. She had long ears. He had heard stories of Dark Konatsian Wizards in the demon realm. And they didn't much like sound either. She was a swordsman as well. So it seemed to fit well enough and he gave it no other thought. Still, whatever she was didn't matter. Despite the pain she was in, she was still able to react and swipe her blade cutting through the sound wave. Sesame moved forward, if she was in pain it was his chance to strike but he had to get past the bladed attack!
Sesame raised right arm allowing the energy to cut into his arm causing blood to spray out as he grunted in pain but kept moving. An Assiasans sometimes had to get dirty and take dangerous blows. That was what those humans did agiasnt him. Take blows to fire back stronger ones. One of the things he learned on this planet. Perfect for this situation where she seemed to be reeling and he was on he up. He would plant his feet next to her pulling his left fist back. He fired it forward a more powerful sound wave this time while he increased his own power two fold! The Perfect chance to take her out and get back to work. He didn't wanna waste anymore time with her. His target could of already escaped.

Fend's head was still spinning from the concussive sound of Sesame's earlier attack. "Whhhat the fuUUuck is a 'kons stain?'" She managed to mutter, unable to make out exactly what Sesame said while her ears were still full of static.
She tried to steady herself, but the dizzy spell that had overtaken her body made her attempts to muster a defense impossible. She raised her hands to try and create a barrier to protect herself, but pain overtook her entire body before she could.
However, just as Sesame's devastating blow landed, Palibur itself let out a pulse of light. Fend's grip on it tightened instinctively as it funneled energy into its wielder. The swordfighter herself didn't seem to notice, too preoccupied with processing the numbing strike that had been dealt to her, but her power increased just as the blow landed to take the hit.
However, Palibur's aid didn't change the fact that oh god, oh fuck, that hurt. Fend was sent flying upwards from the blast, slamming right through the roof of the train. Her ki seemed to dimish as she vanished from sight, seemingly left behind by the train as it continued to rocket forwards...
"I think... I think made a mistake." A few carts back, though, Fend stubbornly clung to the very edge of one of the carts, having managed to catch herself with her strings of energy. She took a deep breath, pushing herself upright as the wind beat down on her new wound. Though the sound blast hadn't damaged her clothes, Fend could feel a deep, dark bruise on the side of her torso now. She was only half sure none of her ribs had been broken. "I've had worse, though." Fend spoke to herself, steeling her nerves again. That was just a lucky shot. This time, she had a solution to this sound problem.
Sesame would only have a minute to himself before a familiar string of ki shot through the hole in the roof Fend created. If he couldn't react in time, it would wrap around his arm and yank him up through the hole, roughly hurling the demon onto the rooftop. Fend had suppressed her energy in hopes of pulling off a sneak attack, but now let her ki surge out again.
"Did you think you could kick my ass that easy?" If Sesame thought Fend wasn't stubborn enough to keep going in spite of being blasted, he was woefully mistaken... Now, though, the Shinjin wore a pair of headphones that were connected to a ZPhone slung around her waist. She now could kick Sesame's ass, resist his sound attack's concussive effects a bit better, and listen to some boppin' tunes at the same time. Win-win.

Sesame fist flashed forward and smashed into Fend. However, as that landed he could see the light coming from her blade. And he picked up the increase in Fend’s power after the blow landed. She had used the same trick he had. Quickly pulling in all her energy to increase her power two fold. It was dangerous for him now she could try to attack back. But would she be able to? Sesame could not say for sure but if that occurred he would be ready to power up right away. However, what surprised him was her dropping after increasing her power so much to a measly one. Did he win? Sesame in the past would have assumed so but he had met a lot of strong foes in this realm. And they had taken his best blows and kept moving. Then again she had been fully flung out of the train. Sesame began to walk away assuming the fight was over for the moment. He would go to kill his target while they were still on the train. No doubt they were trying to make an escape.
Sesame passed the area noticing some people left some things. He picks up the coat of a man, a revolver slipping out. Maybe that will be used later. He would take it and put it away. He didn’t have a lot of ranged options. Nor was he that skilled with a gun. But it would be enough to kill a normal human. And to be in a way that no one would notice. Especially in the panic, the screaming for help and safety. But before he could get away strings wrapped around his arm. He was yanked upwards slamming into the roof of the train car. Sesame perked up to see Fend still ready to fight and now with some headphones. Did she think those would protect her. Sesame face coiled in slight annoyance before getting back into his fight stance though this time in a southpaw formation. His left arm for attack and his right arm for defense. Considering how badly Fend messed it up, using it as a meat shield would be its best use to protect his right arm.
Fend steadied her breathing, slipping into a low offensive stance, with Palibur clutched in one hand and her other hand poised to prepare a spell. Sesame had been using his fists to launch all of those sound waves so far. She'd manage to take his right arm down a peg, but it was far from enough to muffle the supersonic blows.
She looked to her side. The train tracks were currently taking them across a mountainscape. To the right was a steep cliff, where a frozen river snaked far below them. To the left was the sharp incline of the mountain, dotted with pine trees. Some of their branches were long enough to occasionally swipe across the rooftops- she'd have to worry about the new environmental hazards now, too, or find a way to use the new setting against Sesame.
"Round two, asshole." Wind stirred around Fend as she rushed forwards, blade in hand to swing down upon Sesame... And then, just as the Shinjin was inches away, she vanished into light.
Her opponent wouldn't have much time to contemplate what had just happened, though, as she'd reappear to his left in a flash. A blobby mote of light had formed in her free hand. Fend crushed the magical orb, sending bolts of multicolored light flying right at Sesame's left arm- the many blasts came in a cone-shaped flash all at once, like a shotgun had just been fired at the demon. If she'd successfully managed to catch him off guard and land the blow, the viscous blobs would cling to his arm, making movement much more of a chore...
Still, she had a sword and was ready to use it. Regardless of the effect of her light, Fend would swing Palibur again, hoping to dig its blade right into Sesame's side.

Sesame watched Fend movement carefully and the whole area was a whole. They were moving pretty quickly on the train keeping one balance was key to a fight like this. It was something that power didn't give you. A simple shake could throw you around even if you were strong enough to bench a planet. Unless you fully gripped yourself to the objects which would slow you down or move you couldn't dodge. Lucky for him he had good balance this not a problem. Question was for him, if Fend would be able to work with. Sesame got ready to inch forward but Fend was on the attack moving right at him with her saber. Good he could take advantage of such a charge. Just to wait for the opening.
However, Fend seemed to vanish in a burst of speed. Did she just teleport. Sesame found this surprising, it was like some demons could do. Vanish like that? But she was not a demon was she. Why would she fight for justice as a demonic being? It just must be apart of her magic. She reappeared just as these thoughts began to process as his left side. Sesame leaped back to avoid what he assumed would coming in a sword slash. However instead, Fend was launching a burst of energy at him! The bolts slammed into him sending him flying back. That what he got for miscalculating for what his foe was thinking. And he saw the balls all surround his left arm. She was trying to stop him from being able to attack. Sesame skidded to the edge of the train the wind blowing into his back. Sesame saw Fend rush in to slash his side so he swung his right form forward sending blood right hopefully into her eyes. Shifting to the side slightly as the blade cut flesh he bring his weakened left arm over to slam into her chin a sound wave erupting to break off the ki balls and pay her back for her attack.
