Welcome to Dragon Ball Sparking!

We're all very excited to have each and every one of you join us for the next iteration in this series of forums. We are currently going to be entering our application approval phase and will be in this phase for about a week. The goal of this phase is simple: Make sure everyone is all approved and set to start roleplaying at the same time! This will also give everyone time to adjust to the new system and ask any questions they have ahead of time.

Things may look overwhelming at first, but we highly recommend even our veterans look through the Newbie Guide to get a proper handle on things. You can find that on the forum itself, or through this link right here: dbsparking.freeforums.net/thread/1/newbie-guide

That should cover all the basics you need to know before you get started, but one additional thing is that we want to make sure everyone is gotten to in a timely manner and has at least one of their characters all set for the site's roleplay opening in about a week. So, one rule we will be enforcing is that players may not post an app for an additional character until their first app has been approved. This will help smooth things out and ensure that nobody gets five of their characters approved at once while some people wait to get their first even looked at.

If you have any other questions, please direct them towards any of the admins and they will answer you as best they can! Also, if you notice any errors or inconsistencies, please let us know! We combed through the site as carefully as we could, but there's still a chance we've missed something or made an error.

With all that aside, we hope each of you has a wonderful time on Dragon Ball Sparking, and we're super looking forward to what this new site will have to offer!

Hey, everyone! First of all, we were super happy to see how much of a response our soft launch got. We have over 70 characters primed and ready to go for launch day already, with many more well on their way! And, speaking of launch day, that's what this announcement is about!

We're all set to start ahead of schedule, and Dragon Ball Sparking will officially open roleplay on Thursday, March 18th, at 7PM EST!

We'll post an official announcement tomorrow when things truly begin, but for now, start locking in what threads you want to start and who they'll be with. There's no official thread limit, but be sure to pace yourselves and not stretch too thin - we recommend everyone keeps themselves to about 7 or 8 threads max, but everyone's upper limit is different! There's no shame in starting off with just one or two threads.

Hey everyone, one last announcement we'd like to make!

First of all, thank you all for bearing with us as we fixed the Zeni issue, everything should be working perfectly now, but do alert us if you encounter any problems! And secondly, wow, what an amazing start! We hardly expected the amount of activity we got on our very first night - just four hours in and we've already seen well over a hundred roleplay posts! We on the staff team all want to extend a huge thank you to everyone on the forum - without you guys, none of this would be possible!

And lastly, we'll be putting up an Action Thread embargo for the beginning stages of the site. We want to make sure that everyone is able to calmly settle in to the site's mechanics and their characters for a while, so we're going to be enforcing a one month period wherein no Action Threads can be created. This should give ample time for people to get used to things, and it'll also give us on the staff team a minute to breathe after all the work we've been doing these last four months!
