Being handicapped wasn't something Kyoha had in mind. Discerning that statement would have to wait, though, as the man came for Alaistair. Their previous stance resembled the roof stance, a stance that resembled the Roof stance, with a lowered posture. They were going to be coming with a thrust. However...
As Alaistair brought his sword arm forward, energy focused into the man's weapon densely! Vastly more than Alaistair's whip attack from before that he managed to avoid. The jolting angle of the blade caught Alaistair's attention! Instead of speeding away, the demon's appearance was wrapped in white-orange light before solidifying into red, eastern armor tied at the waist with ropes with golden masks with horns curving upwards! The attack connected to Alaistair's body, but despite the weight in the attack, this new armor covering Alaistair had halted it!
"Ah, you're quick to readjust mid strike," Alaistair complimented, "And analytical enough to dodge an attack that could harm you! Impressive."
The Demon brought his sword hand forward, very much intending to skewer Kyoha's right shoulder! He was going to push him back and create space between the two of them. Alaistair's armor was going to be able to hold out for a good bit more time before he'd be exposed again. However, it'd be enough time for Al to determine his approach!
Al's counter to the River Cutter is Devil Armor! With its power of 15,067; the River Cutter does not go through. Al then proceeds to stab at Kyoha's shoulder with his own sword. He's taking a analytical approach to this.

While Kyoha had expected some resistance to his strike, he didn't expect it to come in the form of a full set of armor just magically forming to intercept him. His opponent even saw it fit to compliment his approach, as if doting on their child. Was the gap truly large enough to prompt such a nonchalant response to his offense?
As if reading this thought in his mind, his opponent would thrust out with his sword towards Kyoha. He barely could even recognize the attack before it was nearly too late. At the last moment he would duck down, the sword cleaving through his flesh easily, but luckily he had managed to avoid getting himself pierced at the end.
Gritting his teeth at the pain from the gash cut into him, he quickly pivots on his feet and swings his blade towards the inner part of Alaistair's elbow. The joints of armor are always good gaps to exploit against plated armors. Right after the blade made contact, the Human would leap back out of range, clutching at his wound. Even though it had been just a moment, he already felt his blood seeping through his clothing and against his palm.
"Well, I suppose you were forthright about not restricting yourself to just your sword. You're really not going to make this easy for me, are you?"
With a grunt, Kyoha would let a burst of ki release from the palm clutching at his wound. While just a small flicker, it was enough to instantly sear the flesh and cauterize his wound. A sickening amount of pain to a regular person, but the bounty hunter had grown uncomfortably fine with the feeling.
"Alright, any more tricks you'd like to show me?" Quickly returning his other hand to the handle of his blade, he assumes a defensive stance once more, slowly pacing to the side as he awaits the followup.

Alaistair's stab didn't connect. However, it had instead cut into the bounty hunter! They twisted upright and swung at the Alaistair's elbow. The Demon shifted his posture, pointing himself toward the man and putting free arm forward, parrying the strike! The man commented about being forthright, and realizing Alaistair wasn't going to be easy on him.
"Nope," Alaistair bluntly stated. The man cauterized the wound up with a heated ki palm, gritting his teeth tightly. Alaistair pointed to him with the sword, circling towards the general vicinity of the wound as he spoke, "If I'm hiring you for anything and something awry like coming across someone stronger than you, I need to know you can get out, and I need to see if you can keep things confidentially tight!"
The man recovered from his pain and assumed a defensive posture. Asking wasn't something he should've been doing. In a whirl, Alaistair approached with a cleaving attack going for Kyoha's chest! He then followed up with a ki pulse, aiming to knock the man back. Alaistair's energy was low making this armor, which still looked pristine. However, the color was fading. He had a couple more moments before he would be without the armor.
Alaistair uses the Devil Armor to block once more! He spins with a rapid step, aiming to cleave into Kyoha. He then follows up with a Ki Pulse to shove the young Bounty Hunter back so he can focus on regaining his energy!

As Kyoha continued to pace around the man, he was given a rather blunt answer to his question, confirming that this really was a test to simply see how he could fare against someone superior to himself. A harsh remake in relation to his personal strength, but he had already reasoned that he was significantly weaker. As for what to do about that, though, was quite the question indeed.
In a blur of motion, Alaistair would approach, leaving Kyoha no time to avoid incoming slash. The gap in speed was just far too vast for that. Blocking it was also completely out of the question, unless he felt like forfeiting a limb or his weapon.
No, instead he would pivot on his feet and charge right into the stroke. Raising his blade, he has the side of his sword smack against the side of Alaistair's, a parry he put all of his might into yet barely forcing it to barely brush past the top of his head. Before he could even attempt a counterattack, though, a surge of ki was let loose point-blank against him, sending him rocketing backwards.
Smashing onto the ground some distance away right onto his back, the ground itself breaks apart from the force he was knocked away with. Prone in the crater, he takes a moment to clutch at his chest, laboriously catching his breath after having it just knocked right out of him.
"God...Okay, I should've expected something like that," he mutters to himself as he forces himself to stand upright once again and reassuming the same stance as before, not daring to approach until he can try to formulate a better approach for someone that outclasses him to this degree. If it was hard to fight while playing as defensively as he could, he couldn't even imagine how easy it would be to find gaps in his offense to be taken advantage of.

Now this was an interesting maneuver! Alaistair was expecting his sword to connect with Kyoha for sure, but the bounty hunter made quite the bold move: He turned INTO the attack and, with both hands on the back of his sword, he shoved the attack just away from him! Of course, though, the maneuver left him completely open to the ki shove... Or, at least what Alaistair thought was going to be a ki shove.
No, it turned into a pulse that caused the poor man to be knocked down the hill and into the ground, developing a small crater underneath! Alaistair grimaced behind his mask for the brief moment, wondering if he put way too much behind the attack! However, the swordsman got back up, speaking that he should've expected that.
"And yet you didn't," Alaistair prodded at. Kyoha's focus changed to defense at this point. The armor on Alaistair was cracking, with particles of energy blowing away slowly in the wind. Al knew this was happening, and in no hesitation, charged at the man and swung to the chest widely! Without missing a beat, he brought his right foot straight up to the man's chin, anticipating that they would dodge the lethal blow, to send them flying up above! One of the things Alaistair was going to test next was if this man had a means of flying or slowing his fall. He knew the armor was fading at this point and wouldn't serve any more purpose in protecting him against the attacks from this youngster.
'I'll focus on mobility here to keep him on his toes,' Alaistair planned in his head, 'He has no shields, as far as he's shown so far... But perhaps my barrage of swift attacks can expose whether he has the ability or not!'
