Regeneration: Once per thread, you may heal yourself for 60% damage. This may only be done at the end of your post.
Dragon Clan: You can generate a healing technique valued at 50% of your PL for 2KP, 100% of your PL for 4KP, and 150% of your PL for 6KP. This interacts exclusively with your base power level, and heals based on your target's base power level. Once per thread regardless of level used.
Battle Wisdom: Once per thread, when you use a Heavy Technique with a variant, you may swap the variant for any other variant of equal or lesser cost.
Quick Learner: You gain technique slots every 8,000 PL instead of every 10,000 PL.
Impossible Recovery: If you are defeated by taking Critical Damage in an Action Thread, you can choose to be dealt a Wound and continue the fight with whatever HP you have remaining. If defeated again, you will be dealt an additional Wound. In a non-AT thread, this allows you to resist Critical Damage once, and you do not sustain a wound.

Description/Appearance
Shakuhachi stands tall and intimidating, around 190cm in total when not in shoes. Being young, his skin is smooth, with a strong green tone, and pink patches over his body are still bright and full of life. He is seen typically in his battle outfit, a purple gi with a red belt, though at this point it is in poor repair with the signs of battle displayed throughout.
History
Shakuhachi grew up the golden child of the Dragon Clan. From a young age he trained with the hope and expectation that one day he would rise up the ranks and become the next great Guru to lead the Namekians into a better time. The foul and deformed Mazoku Clan has risen from a small pest to a considerable threat, and the Namekians would have to rely on strong leadership in order to get them through the troubling times which were ahead. Shakuhachi saw himself as the only one who could defeat this growing threat.
As the Guru grew older however, he began to sour on Shakuhachi, sensing that something within him would hold him back from being the right leader for the Namekian people. Although Shakuhachi worked tireless to prove these doubts wrong, he was never able to gain the trust of the Guru, who took another under his wing; one who he thought was pure of heart. The symbolic passing of the torch became literally when Guru, who was nearing the end of his life, gifted the Dragon Ball he guarded over to his chosen successor, the young Wadaiko.
Shakuhachi was furious with the decision, and refused to give up his position as the chosen heir, even though this was entirely in his own head, and was never designated that title by anyone. He challenged Wadaiko to battle, with the winner earning the right to lead. Guru was disappointed, proclaiming that such an act was exactly why Shakuhachi would never be the right person to take the peaceful people of Namek forward, and that his heart had a darkness and ferocity about it which would guide the Namekian people into peril if they followed him.
Shakuhachi ignored the protests but Wadaiko did not, refusing to fight both out of respect for Guru, and because he had nothing to gain. Shakuhachi was furious and attacked Wadaiko while his back was turned, killing him. Shakuhachi was exiled from the Dragon Clan, and was left without a home or family. The few of the Warrior Clan that were around dragged him physically out of the capital and threatened him with death if he ever tried to return. Shakuhachi swore vengeance on his former people and set out for the Mazoku.
He had hopped for a warm welcome, offering his services to the Demon Clan with hopes of a leadership role once they had wiped out the other Clans of Namek. The Mazoku however were not trusting of one who was once apart of the Dragon Clan, and instead imprisoned and tortured the young Namek, who only now realized his own hubris. It was over a decade that Shakuhachi spent in the hands of the Mazoku, and in that time he grew from a boy into a man. But he was not the only one who had changed; the planet itself was shifting.
While Shakuhachi was imprisoned, the Guru had passed away. Guru was undecided on whom should succeed him, and thus the Dragon Clan was left without a leader. The Mazoku clan had grown stronger over the years as well, with their numbers steadily increasing to the point where the Warrior Clan were now on the back foot. For as old as time they had provided protection to the Dragon Clan but now they were losing their ability to do so, with numbers dwindling and more of them deciding to ply their trade elsewhere as mercenaries.
Shakuhachi however was not going to spend the rest of his life stuck in a dingy cell waiting for his daily beating; he had plans. The infrastructure of the Mazoku was lacking, and although it took him a decade he eventually burrowed his way out of his cell and made it into the open air; his destination? was the capital. Although the Warrior Clan had threatened death on arrival when he arrived there were much more important things going on. With the death of Guru there were several Namekians vying for control.
There was every sort of politician here, from those who were looking for personal gain, to those who proclaimed peace and prosperity would follow their election. Some candidates believed that commerce was the most important step, imploring the Namekians to open themselves up to foreign investment, while others instead discussed the growing threat of the Mazoku, discussing peace treaty options. Shakuhachi had no mind for peace though; now was finally his time to assert himself. The Namekians were docile and peaceful people; he needed to change that.

Medium Offensive - Kuchikosen
Shakuhachi takes in several depth breaths; with each one ki is gathered from within and around him. The ki forms as a sphere inside of his mouth, which he then fires for devastating effect.
