Rime was intrigued by Jackie's question about the natural creatures of Arcose, and was more surprised to hear that she already knew of the leviathans that would sometimes just...wait beneath the frozen waters. They were an unsettling reality for many of his people, even if he was never particularly bothered about the idea. Perhaps that was easy to say, now that he was of a power level able to deal with one of them on his own, but they didn't roam near civilisation, and as long as you flew at an appropriate height, even they wouldn't be able to reach up and drag you down.
"We do have a good amount of specimens that would be classed as megafauna by many other planets, yes. Thankfully, my people's natural power meant that in groups, our ancestors could deal with them. It's been theorised that we had always acted as aggressive, group hunters in this way." He realised that it was probably better not to bore her with theories regarding the track that the Arcosian ancestors took towards this current genetic situation. There were likely more relevant things on her mind, and that should be on his.
He chuckled at how Jackie was almost forced to deal with the attention from the medical staff, who rushed around and fussed over every injury, whether recent or old, trying to find a way to clean things up, dull pain or even remove the appearance of damage. "We don't exactly have many injuries here, so the staff here need things to do. You can understand why they're so excited to have a guest in."
One of the medical staff gave Rime a side-eye, as though saying something sarcastically, and the telepathic, snarky comment that came through was clear to him, just not to anybody else. Rime held back from chuckling, only giving a small smirk before he realised what Jackie's request was. He stared at her for a moment, dumbfounded. Well, even with how recently he had arrived, he hadn't caught onto all the information on Earth yet. He supposed that branding hadn't been on his top priority list - maybe it should have. "Agua. Agua...that is a...carbonated drink, right?" He made it sound as though he was remembering something familiar, rather than throwing out a random guess. He had been asked for something, and then didn't even know what it was. How very embarrassing.
